Questions we hear a lot

Do I need experience to join Ironwood Fitness?

Not at all. We work with complete beginners through to competitive athletes. Your first session always starts with a fitness assessment so your coach understands exactly where you are. Our coaches are skilled at adapting every exercise to your current level.

How many sessions per week do I need?

For most members, two to four sessions per week delivers strong results. Your coach will recommend a realistic frequency based on your goal, your schedule and your recovery capacity. We believe in sustainable training, not burnout.

What is included in the personal training fee?

Personal training sessions include your initial fitness assessment, a custom periodised programme, in-session coaching, between-session messaging support and a monthly progress review. Nutrition guidance is included at no extra cost for personal training clients.

Can I try before I commit?

Yes. We offer a free 60-minute trial session for all new members — no payment card needed. Book through our contact form or call us directly. This is the best way to meet your potential coach and experience the studio before making any commitment.

Do you offer online coaching for clients outside Kharkiv?

Yes. Our online coaching programme delivers the same personalised training plans and regular coach check-ins via video call and our messaging system. It is popular with clients relocating within Ukraine or internationally who want to keep working with their Ironwood coach.

What nutrition approach does Ironwood follow?

We follow an evidence-based, flexible approach — no extreme cutting diets, no forbidden foods. We work with your preferences, your budget and your lifestyle to create macronutrient targets and food habits that fit real life. The goal is a system you can follow indefinitely, not just for six weeks.
